Summary: Najm ICUCalc does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Every value you enter — patient parameters, lab results, notes — is stored only on your own device in the browser's localStorage, and never leaves it.

None. The app has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no advertising SDKs. There are no third-party trackers, cookies for tracking, or fingerprinting scripts.

Patient data (weight, height, age, sex, creatinine), clinical inputs (blood pressure, ABG values, ventilator settings, scores, etc.), and free-text notes are stored locally in your device's browser storage. This data:

The app requests no runtime permissions. It does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, files, or health data.

After the first load, the app functions fully offline via a service worker cache. No API calls are made to any external service during normal use.

The app is intended for use by licensed clinicians. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.

6. Medical disclaimer

Najm ICUCalc is a reference aid — not a medical device. All calculations, ranges, and interpretations must be independently verified by a qualified clinician against institutional protocols, drug labels, and the patient's clinical context. The authors assume no liability for clinical decisions made with this tool.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the update date at the top of the page will change. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
